Risk analysis in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
(only relevant for Germany)
According to the LkSG, SMEs in Germany (above a certain size) are obliged to carry out and document an appropriate risk analysis of their suppliers with regard to compliance with human rights and specific environmental rights and to take appropriate measures.
C-plus-C supports you in this risk analysis in accordance with the LkSG using a self-developed tool in order to fulfill the regulatory obligations with efficient use of resources and to keep the real risks in focus with structured processing.
The tool developed by C-plus-C for this purpose:
-
is adapted in advance to the interfaces of your company accounting and your specific needs
-
determines a ranked list of your suppliers in the first step as part of the abstract risk analysis to enable you to deploy resources appropriately
-
guides you through the evaluation process of relevant suppliers according to risk and turnover as part of the concrete risk analysis in the second step
-
records the measures they have defined in the third step and
-
collects all the information required for documentation at the end.
Sustainability reports from SMEs in accordance with the VSME standard
Non-capital-market-oriented micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are not yet obliged to prepare a sustainability report. In practice, however, they are often asked by their business partners and customers to provide sustainability information. The EU presented a first draft of the Voluntary SME Standard (VSME) in January 2024.

C-plus-C has developed a tool for preparing a sustainability report in accordance with the VSME standard, with which companies can answer all relevant questions in a structured form and then finalize a sustainability report in accordance with the VSME standard. This enables SMEs to efficiently document their sustainability goals and projects and to focus their resources on pursuing projects that improve their ecological, social and economic sustainability.
The tool developed by C-plus-C for this purpose:
- Is adapted to the company-specific situation for the first sustainability report under the guidance of C-plus-C, so that subsequent reports (if desired) can also be prepared without external consulting support.
- Defines the reporting option desired by the company in the first step,
- performs the double materiality analysis in the second step (if desired or mandatory for the selected option) and
- in the third step, records the detailed information on the topics (relevant according to the selected reporting option).
- Finally, a report on the materiality analysis and/or a sustainability report can be created directly from the tool, ready for printing and dispatch.
Cost for a small company: Depending on the desired level of support from C-plus-C, the workload for the simplest report is 1-3 working days in the company and the costs for C-plus-C are 1-3 daily rates. (The standard daily rate is 950 euros plus VAT and would be reduced to 190 euros plus VAT, e.g. through 80% BAFA funding).
